MULTIPORT II PUMP – PROG CONFIGURATOR: The MultiPort II Lubricator is an electrically operated multiple outlet lubrication equipment designed for use with progressive divider valve systems. The unit can hold up to three separate pumping elements fed directly to greasing points or through a network of progressive divider valves. These lubricators come with 24 VDC motors, perfect for mobile applications. An integrated controller is available for this device. Alternatively, an external controller such as SMDC or PLC/DCS can also control the pump.
PDI Operation
The power supplied to a motor with a gearbox drives a precision eccentric cam that engages with the spring load piston elements. This operation creates a suction and pressure stroke in the component (s), displacing a specified amount of lubricant through an outlet check valve. Lubricant flows to multiple lubrication points and a sequence of positive displacement injectors via the main line tube. The lubricator has a solenoid-operated vent valve that releases mainline pressure when the pump motor stops, allowing injectors to reset for the next cycle.
Working Process
A precision eccentric cam that engages with up to three spring load piston parts powered by a motor with a gearbox. As a result, the element(s) go through a suction and pressure stroke, releasing a certain amount of lubricant through an outlet check valve. Lubricant is discharged from the main line tubing to a series of progressive divider valves and then to multiple lubrication stations. Each piston part includes an adjustable relief valve.
