CASSIDA FLUID HF 46 – Synthetic hydraulic fluids for equipment used in the food industry.
NSF has certified ISO 21469 and registered (Class H1) the product for use in areas where accidental food contact may occur. They are manufactured in compliance with FLT Quality Standards in establishments that have adopted HACCP audit and Good Manufacturing Practice, as well as the quality and hygiene management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 21469.
Features of Performance
-
- In most working circumstances, the base fluid can offer superior lubrication.
- Good anti-wear performance offers extended and reliable component life, resulting in increased plant utilisation and, thus, lower maintenance costs.
- Prevent component damage by outstanding water separation qualities that resist the creation of potentially damaging emulsions.
- Outstanding antifoam and air release properties reduce the amount of cavitations.
- Even at elevated temperatures, it prevents the formation of harmful oxidation products, thereby extending the life of the oil.
- Neutral odour and taste.
- Minimal viscosity variation with temperature is achieved with a high viscosity index.
- Metal surfaces are effectively protected from corrosion.
Applications
- Hydraulic systems
- Hydrostatic gears
- Plain and anti-friction bearings
- General-purpose lubrication, including light-duty gearboxes.
- Circulating oil systems
Seal and Paint Compatibility
Suitable with the elastomers, gaskets, seals, and coatings typically found in the lubricating systems of food machinery.
Handling and Storage
Food-grade lubricants must be kept out of direct sunlight and other heat sources and away from other lubricants, chemicals, and food items. They must be stored in the range of 0 to +40 °C. If the product has been stored under these conditions, we advise using it within five years of production. The product must be used within two years of opening its packaging (or within five years of the date of manufacturing, whichever is sooner).
