LUBESITE CHAIN OILERS
Adding a correctly chosen and applied LubeSite Chain Oiler to a drive’s chain can significantly increase its efficiency, longevity, and performance.
As a chain passes through a sprocket, the pin and bushing surfaces move relative to each other. When wear occurs at these places, chain life and efficiency are reduced because it causes elongation. You may significantly lessen this wear by keeping an oil coating between the pin and bushing.
Proper lubrication can also avoid chain failure since it guards against rust and corrosion. Even at lower loads, rusting promotes the formation of pits, which lead to stress concentration locations and early chain collapse. The bristles of the brush will also aid in cleaning the chain by displacing dirty oil with clean ones and eliminating dirt and other impurities.
LubeSite chain oilers operate automatically at preset rates to avoid over- or under-lubrication. This eliminates downtime in applications where equipment must be turned off to reach the chain.
